Situated in the remote and extraordinarily beautiful Damaraland region of Namibia, Twyfelfontein Lodge lies in the Twyfelfontein Uibasen Conservancy, famous as the site of some of the best examples of Khoisan rock engravings and paintings in southern Africa. The area was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2007 and remains a highlight of this rewarding semi-desert destination.

The lodge has been constructed to blend into the surrounding rock formations and the result is a stunning design as well as a well-appointed base from which to discover the secrets of Damaraland.

Twyfelfontein Lodge has 56 en suite double rooms and one exclusive bungalow plus a thatched unit with four twin rooms. Fitted with a fan, the rooms are somewhat on the small side but are comfortable and cool.
