The Singita Mara River Tented Camp features a remote Serengeti location with only six tents surrounded by acres upon acres of untouched wilderness. The Mara River Tented Camp is in the Lamai Triangle located within the wildlife-rich Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The camp offers a luxurious yet intimate African safari experience.

This unique area features abundant populations of plains game, big cats, elephants, crocodiles, and hippos while it is a perfect place from which to view the spectacular annual wildebeest migration.

The camp aims to create an authentic connection with nature. Six guest tents offer solitude and space, with breathtaking interiors. The camp is built entirely from natural materials and relies on solar power. All the artwork and decor are sourced from young designers and craftspeople, creating a relaxed and fun yet functional environment.

The Camp is a perfect area that is home to some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Tanzania. Guests can get up close and personal with the wildlife using walking safaris, day safari drives or spot-lit night drives through the reserve.

Over 98,852 acres of untouched wilderness, Singita Lamai is located in northern Tanzania, bordering the Maasai Mara National Reserve. River Tented Camp is ideally positioned on the renowned migratory route traversed annually by more than a million wildebeest.

Mara River Tented Camp consciously seeks to eliminate the unnecessary use of energy and nonbiodegradable materials. In keeping with this, the camp is “off-the-grid” and relies entirely on a custom-designed solar power system and uses recycled and natural materials.
