From December to early April, the camp is based in Ndutu, an area within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, just south of Serengeti National Park. Here, wildebeest give birth to over 8,000 calves daily, attracting an abundance of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. May to November – River Crossings in Northern Serengeti

From late May through November, Nyikani Migration Camp moves north to Kogatende, near the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest risk their lives crossing crocodile-infested waters. This is the best location to witness dramatic river crossings, as herds move between Tanzania and Kenya, navigating one of the most perilous segments of their annual journey. In addition to crocodiles and hippos, the area is home to big cats like lions and leopards, making it a prime location for unforgettable predator-prey interactions.
