Seafront En-Suite Room

The individual cottages at Kinasi create an eclectic combination of coastal Tanzanian, African, Indian and Arabic cultures, creating the distinctive 'Shirazi' style. Cottages are either built on the seafront or in the beautiful gardens, with views over the ocean.

The Garden Sea View cottages feature full en suite bathrooms with solar-heated water, a king-sized bed or two twins, mosquito nets, a writing desk and a double chaise for relaxation. You can also walk out onto your private veranda, with cushioned seats or hammocks, from which you can enjoy the beautiful views over the ocean.

OTHER ROOM TYPES

The five seafront cottages offer everything available as the Garden Sea View Cottages but are situated only a stone’s throw from the warm, crystal clear waters of the ocean.

The Family Room is also a Sea Front Bungalow with two rooms and a shared bathroom. The second room can be made up for either two or three additional guests, making it ideal for families on vacation.

Facilities

The spa and wellness centre is created along an Egyptian theme and features modern ceramics and tile work. Enjoy a range of essential therapies, by visiting the Pharaoh’s Bath (ideal for couples), the hot hydrotherapy bath, or the dedicated massage therapy room.

The swimming pool is centrally located, in a sunny spot that is surrounded by palm trees. Enjoy light meals, drinks, teas and coffees from the Pool Bar, tucked away beneath the palms.

Dining

Indulge in traditional African meals that are deliciously prepared by the resident chefs. Look forward to a mixture of European and East African delicacies, with a special Swahili evening once a week. Kinasi is known for serving the best traditional food on the island, and you can look forward to freshly caught seafood, fresh local produce, grills and homemade condiments.

Enjoy a buffet lunch at the pool bar, with a relaxed atmosphere, and sit down in the dining room at dinner times for a table d’hote meal, specially catered around a theme. For extended, two-tank dives, the crew will bring along packed lunches and snacks to keep you energised and to make the most of the incredible marine life.
