Hidden in the heart of Namibia's unique and beautiful Damaraland, the Damara Mopane Lodge creates the sense of living in an African village, far removed from cities and towns, and surrounded by sweeping vistas of mopane trees, acacias, and massive granite mountains.
Damara Mopane Lodge is an ideal stop-over before visiting Swakopmund or the Etosha National Park. Visit the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein with its ancient rock art, the Petrified Forest, or the Vingerklip rock formation. Keep your eyes open for springbok and oryx as they graze in the surrounding savannah, as well as the cleverly desert-adapted elephant and black rhino. When you are not out exploring, relax beside the swimming pool or head to the viewing point where you can enjoy the sunset.
