Scenically located in a glade guarded by 3 million-year-old granite towers, Mbuzi Mawe makes maximum use of its unique wilderness location - along one of the main annual wildebeest migration corridors, where you can enjoy a ringside seat to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth.

Being located at the 'epicenter' of the Serengeti gives you a ringside seat at the annual wildebeest migration. Enjoying the views with a cocktail in hand is my fondest memory of this camp!

Standard Chalet

Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp has 16 luxury canvas tents built on stone platforms and shaded by thatched roofs.

Each has an en-suite bathroom, dressing area, 2 double 4-poster beds, a sitting area, and a veranda from which to enjoy your beautiful natural surroundings. All have ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and accessibility for the disabled.

Facilities

The central hub of Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp is its light and airy lounge and its massive natural stone terrace - a favorite place to sip a "sundowner" cocktail as the sun sinks below the horizon.
