Rooms

Safari Tent

Chada Katavi offers six spacious walk-in tents, each with two twin beds or a double bed, with crisp, white Egyptian cotton and fine furnishings.

Each tent has a private bathroom with safari toilets, and bucket showers behind each tent with ample piping-hot water. The bathrooms also feature washstands, with pitchers of hot and cold water set in front of each tent.

Facilities

There is a multitude of wildlife in the valleys, forests, and plains, most notably, the impressive concentrations of hippos and crocodiles, as well as the last great herds of buffalo in East Africa.

Choose from game drives in open 4-wheel drive vehicles; walking safaris accompanied by an armed guide; fly-camping for the night under the stars, or simply enjoy soaking it all up from your tent veranda.

Please note that the camp only accommodates children over the age of 8.
