The Polana is a Maputo landmark! Noted for its design by Herbert Baker, this city hotel is perfectly accessible from the airport and harbor. If spending more than one night, do get out and explore Maputo's shops which are within easy reach. My favorite spot was the Aquarius bar and restaurant which serves sushi and delicious cocktails, the views here are magic!
