Set on the private concession, along the broad banks of the Zambezi River, Matetsi River Lodge offers two types of suites; Luxury and Luxury Family. Here, you, and your loved ones, will be looked after by the incredible lodge team, which includes having your very own personal butler. Clad in an intricate woven pattern that calls to mind the country’s rich heritage, the cool and spacious suites boast contemporary interiors embellished with natural finishes, and decorated with abstract pieces of art, created by a renowned local artist. Each suite is air-conditioned and features a lovely ensuite bathroom and private veranda with exceptional views of the river.
Set in the deep shade of riverside foliage, expansive guest areas are available on the eastern and western sides of the lodge. Delicious menus are created in an interactive kitchen and are served either indoors or outside next to the Zambezi’s running waters.
Matetsi River House Private Villa
Designed with families and small groups of friends in mind, Matetsi River House Private Villa offers a unique combination of rich wildlife viewing plus scenic Victoria Falls experiences, imbued with ultimate privacy.
Cool and elegant interiors create a contrast to the rugged exterior, which pays homage to the region’s basket-weaving traditions. Beautiful natural furnishings are complimented by distinct, locally-created artworks, while four spacious bedrooms come complete with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and ensuite bathrooms boasting an inviting bath and outdoor shower. An extensive secluded veranda looks out onto the immense Zambezi, while a secluded rim-flow pool promises the ultimate refreshment. The private villa includes a personal chef, and butler, plus an exclusive safari vehicle along with your own guide and tracker, ensuring a tailormade safari experience.
For larger groups, an additional Matetsi River Lodge Luxury Suite can be booked to accommodate an additional two guests.
