Elephant Valley Lodge comprises spacious Meru-style tents set under the shady canopy of acacia trees surrounding the swimming pool. All tents are equipped with comfortable verandas – ideal spots to unwind and marvel at the area’s superb birdlife – tea-and-coffee-making facilities, electrical charging points, and en suite bathrooms.

Facilities

The lodge’s main communal areas are shaded by large acacia trees and feature a rim-flow swimming pool, open lounge, bar, and an elevated viewing deck. This connects with indoor and outdoor dining areas, as well as a game viewing platform and traditional boma where dinners are served under the stars. There is a second swimming pool situated in the lodge’s forested area, surrounded by lush lawns. All of Elephant Valley’s communal areas have superb views over the lodge’s waterhole which sees regular visits from elephants, giraffes, buffalo, honey badgers, and even predators like leopards, lions, and hyenas.

Dining

Freshly prepared meals are served in various locations around the lodge, all of which overlook the waterhole. These range from buffet-style dishes on the dining deck to three-course dinners in the traditional boma prepared over an open fire and served under a twinkling African night sky.
