Impressive views over the surrounding wilderness shape the lounge and dining areas. Guests relax on sofas and divans with a book from the library or idly observe the elephant and giraffe at the waterhole.
A sparkling pool beckons in the heat of the day, while the evenings are given over to a central campfire that draws guests to its primal warmth and inspires the natural camaraderie of shared adventures.
Dining
The freshest herbs and vegetables, homegrown in the lodge's kitchen garden, complement a menu designed to satisfy discerning palates. Hearty and nourishing, without ostentation or fussiness, the kitchen serves tender meat and fresh fish dishes, complemented with a tempting spread of salads and superb vegetarian options.
To balance such wholesomeness, a memorable selection of desserts and cheeses complete each feast. Meals are served in the comfortable, open-air dining area overlooking the hippo-filled river. By prior arrangement, guests may dine in the wild proper, taking breakfast, sundowners or dinner alongside the Talek River.
