Standard Room

The stone cottages at the Arusha Serena Hotel take the form of 'rondavels' - traditional circular dwellings - that have banana-stem thatched roofs and are grouped in clusters around a flowery village square to create a welcoming, comfortable home. Rooms are designed in a country house style and are spacious and elegantly furnished with intricately carved furniture. Each room features an en suite bathroom and a private balcony, as well as double French doors that lead into the gardens. Rooms also feature ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and mini-bars. An additional children’s bed can be added on request.

Dinner is presented in a table d'hôte style, accompanied by a salad buffet, soups, entrée, and delicious desserts. The majority of the meat, dairy, fruits, and vegetables are sourced from the communities surrounding the reserve, and meals are paired with an extensive wine list.
