Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a Moonlight Tours Expedition representative and transferred for your scheduled domestic flight to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival at the local airstrip, you will be met and transferred to Chobe Safari Lodge. After checking in for lunch, you will spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool before going on a game drive around the park.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, you’ll make your way through Murchison Falls National Park for an exclusive game drive. You have the chance to see giraffes, elephants, lions, hartebeest, and different bird species. Lunch will be served at the Chobe Safari Lodge. Our safari will then continue on a Nile River boat cruise for game viewing at close quarters. Upon reaching the bottom of the falls, you will have an opportunity to see where the calm Nile forces itself through a narrow, eight-meter gorge and falls about 150 ft. into a thunderous roar of white water—an absolutely incredible sight!
After breakfast, enjoy your very first-morning nature walk in the African bush. You will enjoy the birdlife, butterflies, scenery, and panoramic views of the Nile. Have a relaxed time by the pool and later transfer to the airstrip for an afternoon flight to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Approx. 40 Mins flight. On arrival at Kasese airstrip, you will be met and transferred to Mweya Safaris Lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later enjoy an evening game drive in search of giraffes, zebras, elephants, and lions.

After early breakfast head out for an early morning game drive and experience a medley of wonders. Queen Elizabeth is the most popular park in Uganda with crater lakes, forested gorges, savannah plains, swamps, and rivers. See buffalo, giraffe, leopard, antelope, zebra, amazing birdlife and monkeys. After lunch go on a 3-4 hour spectacular wildlife cruise to experience the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and the Mweya Peninsula. Later will embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable forest for Gorilla trekking.
After an early breakfast, you will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of Uganda’s foremost attractions. Pass through Ishasha the southern-most area of Queen Elizabeth National Park and see the famous tree-climbing lions. Bwindi is the source of five major rivers that flow to Lake Edward, home of half of the world’s mountain gorillas, and an impressive species list: 350 birds, 310 butterflies, 200 trees, 51 reptiles, 88 moths, and 120 mammals. You drive pass Ishasha near the border of the Congo where most likely to see the tree-climbing lions. Upon reaching the lodge you will check in and relax as you wait for the D-day of Gorilla Trekking.
Four Gorillas Lodge
Following breakfast, transfer to the national park offices where you will be allocated a gorilla family in groups of 8 as well as a gorilla tracking guide. After a pre-tracking briefing by your guide touching on the gorillas generally, your assigned gorilla family as well as appropriate safety precautions, you drive to the trailhead for the start of a thrilling adventure. Expect to walk between 2 and 8 hours in steep and sometimes muddy conditions with rain overhead, which can be tough and require a degree of (average) fitness. However, the thrill of coming face to face with a giant Mountain Gorilla silverback completely makes up for the effort!. Upon sighting the gorillas, you spend the allowed one hour with them as they go about their daily life; feeding, moving, playing, raising their young, and sometimes wrestling with the juveniles – it is a totally unique and unforgettable experience!
Upon finishing your breakfast, you will be transferred to Kisoro airstrip to catch your domestic flight to Entebbe International flight home. This will mark the end of our beautiful trip.
