From the elegant wooden central platform where the Lake Burunge Tented Lodge restaurant stands, it’s possible to watch the lakeshore waiting for the animals that come to drink there.

Because the camp is strategically located in the natural corridor between Manyara and Tarangire, the spectacle of the migration is guaranteed. The camp is located 10 minutes from the entrance to the park known as Tarangire.

The lodge has 20 tents, each one built on a raised deck and 10 bungalows. Each tent has been built on a raised platform with a terrace that affords guests a view of Lake Burunge and beyond. On a clear day, you can even see Mount Meru.

The tents are topped with a thatch roof to help keep out the heat of the day, there’s a fan to circulate the air too. They are stylish with wooden floors, four poster beds adorned with mozzie nets, and an en-suite bathroom. Your private terrace is the perfect spot for a bit of peace between game drives, as you sit and admire the views.

There are larger tents and inter-connecting tents for families.
