Rooms

Cottage

The cottages at Kinondo Kwetu have several different configurations for different group sizes and dynamics. Three are double bed cottages, one has a connecting single room to the double room and one is a larger family-size cottage with a double room connecting to a single room and an additional upstairs double room.

Each cottage is equipped with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and a private, comfortably furnished veranda facing the ocean.

Other Room Types:

The Mama Taa Villa houses the beautiful Honeymoon Suite, a family suite, four family inter-connecting rooms and two double rooms. All rooms in the Mama Taa Villa are booked separately and have air-conditioning and a private balcony or veranda.

The Mama Tina Villa would work well for families with older children, with a double ensuite room and two additional rooms sharing a bathroom.

Alex House is a private villa perfect for a family or two couples. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge area.

All of Kinondo Kwetu's rooms are adorned with indigenous treasures and distinctive elements from Kenya's coastal region. Each room boasts a unique character, making your stay truly exceptional.

Dining

At Kinondo Kwetu, there is no fixed dining area. Enjoy your three-course lunch on the beach under a shady tree or in the boathouse looking out over the ocean.

Dine on exquisite meals, complemented by a fine South African wine, under the moonlit sky, in a water tower, or a gorgeous garden. Ingredients are fresh and full of flavour, from the locally sourced meat and locally grown vegetables to the fresh seafood.
