Itinerary (Day by Day)

  • Day 1: Fly from Vic Falls to Hwange National Park
  • Your safari starts at Victoria Falls airport, where you connect with the scheduled charter flight to Hwange. Arrive at the airstrip and road transfer to the camp. You will be spending 3 nights at Somalisa Camp, including all your meals, and selected beverages and she scheduled shared activities such as guided walks, bird watching, game drives, night drives as well as the option of a cultural visit to a local village. Hwange National Park is a land of contrasts from dense teak and acacia forest to vast open savannah.

  • Day 2-3: Game Viewing in Hwange National Park
  • Two days to enjoy all that Somalisa Camp has to offer, the location of the camp provides breathtaking views of the savannah plains. Wildlife sightings include elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, hyena, and many other wildlife species.

  • Day 4: Fly to Mana Pools National Park
  • Fly from Hwange National Park to Mana Pools National Park where you spend three nights at the Nyamatusi Camp which is set in one of the wildest and most remote parts of Africa, on the banks of the Zambezi River. Mana Pools offers you a pure, unspoiled, private African safari experience. The park is often referred to as the last pioneer park lying in the great African Rift Valley and is an explorers’ paradise. You will experience the raw power of nature when canoeing down the Zambezi River, or watching a wildlife extravaganza unfold on game drives. Back at camp on time for dinner and chat with your fellow travelers under a bright starry night sky.

  • Day 5-6: Game Viewing in Mana Pools National Park
  • Watch the drama of nature play out before your eyes on game drives or thrilling canoeing safaris. Fishing on the Zambezi River (catch and release only) and birding safaris are highlights here. All these activities are included in your stay and led by qualified and passionate guides, keen to share their knowledge and love of the bush with you. This is your time to detox from the daily demands of life and appreciate the nature around you, look at the sky, and the stars, and marvel at the equilibrium between the fragile eco-systems.

  • Day 7: Farewell
  • Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and transfer to the airstrip. Scheduled charter flight to Harare International Airport where you can then fly to your next destination.

CANCELLATION

·40% Deposit payable upfront. The remaining balance is payable 45 days prior to trip departure. Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to departure, but the 40% deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applicable within 20 days of departure.

PAYMENT

A deposit of 40% is required when booking this tour. The remaining balance will be charged 45 days prior to departure. For any bookings within 30 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
