You'll depart at 5:30 am from Dar es Salaam via Morogoro and Chalinze with a picnic lunch pack. Continue with the drive to Mikumi and after 5 or 6 hours, you will come across several animals that may include lions, elands, hartebeest, buffalos, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, elephants, wild dogs, and many species of birds. Proceeding with a game drive viewing at Mikumi National Park, you will see multiple species of animals and birds. Due to its savannah plain, animals in Mikumi are easily accessed and it takes only 4 to 5 hours to finish a game. Drive to Bastian Camp for accommodation on a full-board basis.

After breakfast and a cultural visit to the Maasai village at around 9:00 am, we will drive to Nyerere National Park taking about 7 to 8 hours. You will have a picnic lunch on the way and the journey will take us through the most unexplored and untouched areas to amaze you. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at African Safari Camp.
Accommodation: Africa Safari Selous (Banda Bungalow)
The day will be spent on game viewing in the park and in the evening, you will experience a boat trip for 2 to 3 hours in the Rufiji River. The safari guide will point out the rarest species of animals, the wild dogs, which are hardly seen in other parks. Sable antelopes, black rhinoceros, Nile crocodiles, hippos along the banks of the Rufiji River, Cape buffalo, hartebeests, and elands. Your picnic lunch and drinks will be served in the wilderness before heading back to camp for dinner and your overnight stay to the gentle grunting of the camp. Boat safaris are also the best excursions for bird enthusiasts. Nyerere National Park which was previously known as Selous Game Reserve has over 350 bird species. The river is the place where they congregate in great numbers and are easily seen in the open environment.
You might also want to try your luck with the ferocious tigerfish, and weighty catfish that live in the waters in abundance.
Have an early morning breakfast at the camp and start a sunrise bush walk. Walking safaris are a fantastic way to get close to nature and learn more about the smaller species and the bush itself. It’s an unforgettable experience to walk and tramp within such a vast and untamed area. The walks take about 2-3 hours long. Usually, the walks leave the camp at 6:00 am -6:30 am after having a cup of tea and some homemade biscuits or doughnuts.
After walking, we shall start the drive to Dar es Salaam or take a boat to Zanzibar for those having an extra schedule.

CANCELLATION
·40% Deposit payable upfront. The remaining balance is payable 45 days before trip departure. Free cancellation up to 30 days before departure, but the 40% deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applicable within 20 days of departure.

A deposit of 40% is required when booking this tour. The remaining balance will be charged 45 days before departure. For any bookings within 30 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking.
