Itinerary (Day by Day)

  • Days 1-4: One of the world’s most beautiful cities | 3 Nights - CAPE TOWN, CAPE TOWN CENTRAL, SOUTH AFRICA
  • Situated in one of Cape Town’s most convenient and prettiest city neighbourhoods, you will check into a stylish, luxury apartment at More Quarters. Having such spacious accommodation will make you feel right at home, with the added perks of room service, babysitting and gym membership.

More Quarters is within walking distance to the vibrant city centre, the Company’s Gardens and exciting Kloof, Bree and Long Streets, which are a treasure trove of boutiques, galleries, cafes, and restaurants. Once you have found your bearings, it is easy to venture slightly further afield: take the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain, walk up Lion’s Head, indulge in some retail therapy at the world-famous V&A Waterfront or soak up the African sun on Camps Bay beach.

The truly adventurous are spoilt for choice: be enchanted by the endangered African penguins at Boulders Beach, whizz over the Constantia Winelands on a zipline, or visit Cape Point to see where two oceans meet. As always, your comfortable apartment and view of Table Mountain is waiting for you at the end of another perfect day.

  • Days 4-7: The rhythms of bush life | 3 Nights - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK, SOUTH AFRICA
  • A short flight whisks you from the city to the bush. Bid Cape Town farewell in favour of a more rugged and untamed landscape to the private Tinga Concession, in the ever-popular Kruger National Park. You will be surrounded by Africa as she once was: hyenas crying out at night, fish eagles calling in the morning and the Big 5 living as they always have.

Your home for the next three nights is the upscale Lion Sands Narina Lodge. Located on a prime game-viewing spot and overlooking the tranquil waters of the Sabie River, Narina Lodge is a luxury haven that makes ‘roughing it’ in the African wilderness a pleasant experience.

Here you’ll enjoy superb service, gourmet dining and lavish creature comforts while slipping into the pattern of ‘bush life’. Wake up at dawn with hot coffee, bundling up for your morning game drive, taking brunch on deck with spectacular views of the river, savouring cocktails as the sun sets and recalling it all around the crackling fire under a blanket of stars.

  • Days 7-12: Frolic in the warm Indian Ocean | 5 Nights - BAZARUTO ARCHIPELAGO, MOZAMBIQUE
  • The trip from South Africa to Mozambique might be longer than your previous flight, but it is worth the wait. The last stop of your African adventure ends at Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort & Spa, where you’ll spend the remaining five days of your journey enjoying a classic beach getaway.

This slice of paradise brings a touch of luxury to the shores of the Bazaruto Island, affording a comfortable yet elegant seaside stay. Spend your days catching a tan and lounging on the golden, soft sand of the beaches, taking a dip in the turquoise water or indulging in a massage and spa treatment. The more active traveller will delight in the many water-based activities on offer, including snorkelling, fishing, water-skiing, and diving.
