Situated on the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, in the heart of the Samburu National Reserve, Elephant Bedroom Camp offers an authentic African safari experience in a comfortable tented setting. Stay in spacious tents that are raised on wooden decks, surrounded by gorgeous doum palms and other indigenous trees that attract almost daily visits by a herd of elephants.
Go on early morning and afternoon game drives to explore the incredible Samburu National Reserve, well known for its lion and leopard sightings. Enjoy a guided nature walk for a more intimate experience of the African bush. Interact with the local Samburu people, learn about their fascinating culture, and be mesmerized by a performance of traditional dancing.

The lookout of the camp is a great place to just sit and watch animals. Being a bit elevated you can see for miles and and enjoy sundowners whilst animals roam all around you!

Elephant Bedroom Camp consists of airy tented suites, creating an intimate bush experience. Decorated in a rustic African fashion, your room offers all the amenities of a more modern bush camp, but with a warmer and more personal feel.
Some of the tents are fitted with king-sized beds while others have queen-sized beds. You'll always have running hot and cold water and electricity, as well as relaxing herbal bath products to enjoy. Walk out onto your private patio to soak in the riverside views or enjoy a refreshing dip in the plunge pool.
Facilities
Relax in the lounge and dining area of the camp, designed to capture a sense of the pioneering days of African safaris. This is the ideal place to spend an evening unwinding with a drink in hand while listening to the sounds of the wilderness.
Dining
The dining area boasts vibrant safari colors and original oil paintings. The decor and soft intimate lighting create a wonderful atmosphere in which to enjoy dinner after a day out in the bush.
Tuck into al fresco breakfasts, 3-course lunches, and 4-course candle-lit gourmet dinners either inside the welcoming dining area or out beneath the star-studded African skies.
For a special treat, set out early in the morning on a game drive and enjoy breakfast in a secluded spot in the heart of the Kenyan wilderness.
