Enjoy the view of the UNESCO city of Stone Town cruising along the coastline
The meeting point is in Forodhani Garden in front of The Floating Restaurant where you will be transported to an Indiana boat by small dinghy. We will cruise approximately 1 hour down past Malindi and near Mtoni where we will stop to admire the views with the Swahili dinner buffet service and live musical entertainment along with a historical narrative of the history of the buildings and coastline enjoying the views and then cruise over to Popo Island to watch the colony of Pemba Flying Foxes come out of their roost when the sun goes down, which is a unique and amazing sight to see as the bats are endemic to only this part of the world, where we then turning back and cruise to town.
On board Swahili Dinner Buffet
During the cruise between Stone Town and Mtoni, we will set up and prepare a delicious Swahili BBQ Buffet with a variety of local salads, pilau spiced rice, coconut cassava, potatoes, samosas, grilled vegetables, and other local specialty dishes paired with your choice of meat, chicken fish and vegetarian choices cooked fresh on the grill.
