Day 1-2: Begin Your Botswana Safari in Chobe National Park

You will be met at Kasane Airport and transferred to Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent lodge within the park. The park is famous for huge herds of elephants and buffalos, and a large pride of lions that have learned to hunt them. It has a river that apparently flows both ways and the mysterious, disappearing (and reappearing) Savuti Channel in the northwest. Here your activities are game drives, boat cruises and cultural excursions. This lodge is the only one inside the park so your game viewing starts the moment you get onto the boat or vehicle.

Day 3-5: Explore Moremi Game Reserve from Okuti

Today, you will have a transfer to Kasane Airport for your flight to Moremi. Situated in the heart of the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve, you can experience game drives with unhindered views in specially designed safari vehicles. When out on game drives, your window seat ensures no more than four guests per vehicle and individual use of a camera mount. The Moremi Game Reserve is rich in wildlife, and its consistent year-round game viewing makes it ideal for repeat and first-time visitors to Botswana. You can also explore the Okavango Delta waterways by motorboat, and the area's open lagoons and winding channels that make it a birder's paradise, complete with herons and storks in the breeding season.

Day 6-8: Explore the Okavango Delta from Kanana

You will have a flight to the Delta where you will be met at the airstrip and transferred to the camp. A hidden jewel on the Xudum River, Kanana is located in the southwest of the Okavango Delta. The area encompasses a necklace of islands dotted with palms, figs, ebony and knobthorn, and is home to a myriad of birds, plants and animals. The nature of the habitat means it is the perfect place to experience the diversity of species found within the Okavango Delta. Situated in the Kanana Concession, the focus of activities at Kanana varies with the rising and falling levels of the Okavango Delta. Activities include game drives with afternoon game drives often continuing into the evening. You'll explore the crystal clear waterways by mokoro or motorboat. Birding is spectacular with Kanana hosting a seasonal heronry that is one of the largest in Southern Africa. Guided bush walks are highly recommended as is fishing for tilapia, African pike and sharp tooth.

Day 9: Depart Botswana via Maun

Sadly your final day has arrived and you will have a flight to Maun to connect with your international departure.
