This tour is designed to suit those who wish to visit the Serengeti on a day trip. The tour starts from Mwanza City which is located on the shores of Lake Victoria. You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Serengeti with a packed lunch and plenty of drinking water. After the game drive in Serengeti, you will be taken back to your hotel in Mwanza in the late afternoon. Serengeti was voted the best national park in Africa for 3 consecutive years since 2019.

The Serengeti day trip tour starts early in the morning at 5:00 am with a pick-up from the hotel. It's about a 145km drive from Mwanza to the Ndabaka entry gate which takes 2 to 3 hours’ drive. After registration, start the game drive. Explore the Western corridor zone, observing masses of residents in their natural habitats.
Further to the Seronera area where these animals can be seen as you search for them, leopards, pride of lion, packs of spotted hyenas, the fleetest cheetahs, and many plain animals like buffaloes, topi, hartebeest, wildebeest, waterbucks, elands, zebras, gazelles, warthogs, just to name a few. There are also numerous birds, more than 100 species can be observed in a day trip to Serengeti.
You can stop at the Serengeti Visitor’s Centre for your lunch (1:30 pm). After ample game viewing, start a long journey back to Mwanza, arriving in the late evening with a drop-off at the hotel. This is the end of the memorable Serengeti day trip tour from Mwanza.
