Mikumi is the third largest park located in the Southern part of Tanzania. It is less crowded and more affordable compared to Serengeti National Park. It is also closer to the capital city of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam than any other park in Tanzania. Animals that are frequently seen in Mikumi National Park include lions, elands, hartebeest, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants, impalas, warthogs, hippos, more than 300 bird species, and different plant species.

You will be picked up from the hotel/airport in Dar es Salaam at 4:00 am (or even 3:00 am) and begin the 5-hour trip to Mikumi National Park, via Morogoro town. You will stop for lunch (brunch) in Morogoro town on the way to Mikumi. Soon after arriving in Mikumi at around 10:00 am, we will go straight to the park and start the tour where you will enjoy the game drive until 3:00 PM. You will then eat lunch and begin your 5 to 6-hour trip back to Dar es Salaam. You will be dropped off at your hotel/airport/resident in Dar es Salaam around 8:00 pm.

CANCELLATION
·40% Deposit payable upfront. The remaining balance is payable 45 days prior to trip departure. Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to departure, but the 40% deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applicable within 20 days of departure.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 40% is required when booking this tour. The remaining balance will be charged 45 days prior to departure. For any bookings within 30 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking.
