This tour will start in Dar es Salaam with a drive to Mikumi National Park in Southern Tanzania and is accessible by the Dar es Salaam to Iringa highway. You will spend the days on a tour exploring the beautiful Mikumi National Park with morning game drives. On the second day, you will drive back to Dar es Salaam.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam and depart for Mikumi National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you will take off on your first game drive in the park; home to elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalos, wildebeests, elands, hartebeests, crocodiles, lizards of all kinds, and other residents. The park also is resident to over 300 species of birds. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Camp Bastian Mikumi later in the evening.

After breakfast, you will leave the lodge for a game drive in the park. Mikumi’s vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland with two water holes, Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop, and malachite kingfisher, you will also find monitor lizards and the deadly python inhabiting the shallow water. In the afternoon, you will leave the park and start your journey back to Dar es Salaam with a stop for lunch at Morogoro Town. After lunch, you will then proceed to the agreed Dar es Salaam drop-off point. This is where your safari will end.

CANCELLATION
·40% Deposit payable upfront. The remaining balance is payable 45 days before trip departure. Free cancellation up to 30 days before departure, but the 40% deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund applicable within 20 days of departure.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 40% is required when booking this tour. The remaining balance will be charged 45 days before departure. For any bookings within 30 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking.
