Gombe Stream National Park is a national park in the Kigoma District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania, 16 km (10 mi). North of Kigoma, the capital of Kigoma Region. The park's major attraction is the Chimpanzees that live protected within its boundaries. The scenery of Gombe is stunning with most of the 16 major valleys containing swift steams, which flow all year. In this park, you can meet the stars of the world-famous chimpanzee community. We start this tour from Kigoma -kibirizi Port.

Pick up from your Hotel at Kigoma and transfer to Kibirizi at 07:30 am arrive at the Port at 0800am, at kibirizi Port you will be transferred to our boat and start safari to Gombe which will take 1-30 minutes to arrive at Gombe. On arrival at the Park, you will quickly register for the permit after that you will meet your guide for the day, and start the trekking on time. Besides chimpanzees, primates inhabiting Gombe Stream National Park include beachcomber olive baboons, red colobus, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, and velvet monkeys. Red-tailed monkeys and blue monkeys also hybridize in the area. The park is also home to over 200 bird species. There are also many species of snakes, and occasional hippopotami and leopards. Visitors to the park can trek into the forest to view the chimpanzees, as well as swim and snorkel in Lake Tanganyika.
After 7 good hours of trekking and exploring the area, you will depart Gombe at 1630 back to kibirizi then transfer to the hotel.
