Spend eight fantastic and memorable days exploring Botswana's two iconic safari destinations - the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park - before ending off with a stay at the mighty Victoria Falls in Zambia. Begin your getaway in the Okavango Delta by going on game drives and traditional mokoro trips. Move on to the border of the Chobe National Park, a famous conservation area packed with big game and home to many predators. There are also plenty of opportunities for keen bird enthusiasts to tick off dozens of bird species.
Lastly, head to the banks of the Zambezi River which will be the base from where you will explore one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Victoria Falls, also known as the adrenalin capital of Africa. Here you can enjoy all the big thrills of the region - thrilling helicopter rides, and sunset river cruises are among the most popular activities.

Arrive at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport today and catch your connecting flight to Maun Airport. From here you will transfer into the Okavango Delta to your accommodation – Sanctuary Baines' Camp - for the first three nights. This intimate tented camp is sheltered among a forest of ebony and sausage trees. Each stilted tent is delicately decorated to provide a luxurious but understated elegance featuring a romantic outdoor bathtub and a four-poster bed that can be wheeled out onto the deck for a night under the stars!
This region of Botswana is home to a wide variety of big game including elephant, buffalo (it’s actually one of the best places to see buffalo), giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, and Africa’s endangered painted wolf, wild dog. The many wild creatures inhabiting this land can be discovered in a multitude of ways. There are game drives conducted in open 4x4 vehicles when the area’s water level permits it, and by mokoro or motorized boat when it doesn’t. Walking safaris are also offered, with passionate guides eager to share their knowledge.

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Today you will leave Sanctuary Baines' Camp after breakfast and transfer to your next accommodation, set on an escarpment overlooking the Chobe River and the world-renowned Chobe National Park: the elegant Chobe Chilwero. This beautiful and luxuriously appointed lodge boasts exceptional river views and breathtaking sunsets, best enjoyed while on a peaceful riverboat cruise.
Chobe National Park is of course known for its exceptional game viewing and bird watching, and you'll be heading out on morning and afternoon game drives with expert guides in search of Chobe's legendary elephant and buffalo herds. The game viewing is particularly good in the June to October dry season. For something more relaxing, however, you can also enjoy a pampering spa treatment at Chobe Chilwero's well-equipped spa.
