  • Day 1: Arrive in Arusha – Kilimanjaro Awaits
  • Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you're warmly received by a private representative and whisked away to a tranquil lodge on the outskirts of Arusha. Enjoy a personalized briefing with your mountain guide who will go over gear, health protocols, and trekking logistics. The evening is spent resting and preparing for the challenge ahead.

  • Day 2: Begin the Climb – Machame Gate to Machame Camp
  • After breakfast, drive to Machame Gate (1,800m), where your Kilimanjaro climb officially begins. The hike winds through lush montane rainforest, alive with monkeys and tropical birds. Reach Machame Camp (2,835m) by late afternoon. Your professional porters will have your tent set up and dinner ready. Breathe in the crisp air and fall asleep under a starlit African sky.

  • Day 3: Into the Moorland – Machame to Shira Camp
  • Today’s trail emerges from the forest into heather and moorland. Hike past giant lobelias and scenic ridges with sweeping views of the Shira Plateau and Mount Meru in the distance. Camp at Shira Camp (3,750m) and witness Kilimanjaro’s glaciers glowing under the setting sun.

    Distance: 5 km | 5–6 hrs

  • Day 4: Acclimatization Day – Shira to Barranco Camp via Lava Tower
  • Ascend to Lava Tower (4,630m) for crucial acclimatization, then descend into the Barranco Valley, known for its surreal scenery and the iconic "Giant Groundsels." Camp at Barranco Camp (3,960m) beneath the sheer Barranco Wall.

    Distance: 10 km | 6–8 hrs

    Overnight: Barranco Camp

  • Day 5: The Barranco Wall – Barranco to Karanga Camp
  • Today’s highlight is the exhilarating scramble up the Barranco Wall, a thrilling but non-technical ascent offering incredible views. Continue through the alpine desert to Karanga Camp (4,035m)A shorter hike day allows rest and acclimatization before the summit push.

    Distance: 6 km | 4–5 hrs

    Overnight: Karanga Camp

  • Day 6: Final Camp – Karanga to Barafu Camp
  • A gradual ascent to Barafu Camp (4,673m) sets you up for the summit attempt. After an early dinner, rest as much as possible—you’ll wake at midnight to begin your journey to the top of Africa.

    Distance: 4 km | 3–4 hrs

    Overnight: Barafu Camp

  • Day 7: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
  • Begin your midnight ascent under the stars. The climb is challenging but incredibly rewarding. Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m) at sunrise—the highest point on the African continent. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Mweka Camp (3,100m) for a well-deserved rest.

    Distance: 17 km | 11–14 hrs

    Overnight: Mweka Camp

  • Day 8: Descend to Mweka Gate – Transfer to Arusha
  • Finish the trek with a descent through lush forest to Mweka Gate, where you'll receive your summit certificate. Return to Arusha for a luxurious hot shower, massage, and celebratory dinner.

  • Today you fly to Lake Victoria, Africa’s inland sea. You have two tailored options:

    Option 1: Mwanza, Tanzania – Explore rock-strewn hills, visit Bismarck Rock, local markets, and take a sunset cruise on the lake.

    Option 2: Ssese Islands, Uganda – Ferry to this archipelago for a remote retreat filled with forest trails, birdwatching, and village life.

CANCELLATION

·40% Deposit payable upfront. The remaining balance is payable 45 days prior to trip departure. Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to departure, but the 40% deposit paid is non-refundable. No refund is applicable within 20 days of departure.

PAYMENT

A deposit of 40% is required when booking this tour. The remaining balance will be charged 45 days prior to departure. For any bookings within 30 days of departure, the full tour amount will be charged upon booking.
