Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast in your hotel in Arusha, we will pick you up we proceed to Lake Manyara National park with game en route for whole day game drive in Lake Manyara National park with picnic lunch. We will enjoy a nice picnic lunch with a view of Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. This impressive park has one of Tanzania largest concentration of Elephants and is famous for its tree climbing lions. After a whole day game drive later afternoon drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti

We will proceed to Serengeti National Park – Tanzania's original and most frequented game reserve. The Serengeti is renowned for the annual wildebeest migration and immense wildlife population. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the kopjes (rock outcropping) and continue to explore the park. Migration of the herds and the time of year are two factors that influence the availability of the wildlife but you can anticipate encountering wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species..

In Central Serengeti Plains

The whole day is devoted for a spectacular game drive in the Serengeti National park, having the chance to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti plains. Floating silently above the bush while spotting wildlife and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Africa. (Balloon is Optional for an extra cost). The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. In the afternoon we we drive back to the lodge and enjoy hot lunch in the lodge followed by a short siesta. After lunch we can an afternoon sunset game drive before going back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

To North Serengeti

After breakfast enjoy full days in the north of Serengeti. This is where you will be lucky to evidence the migration across the Mara River. The purpose of extending to this north area is to be able to see the migration, but apart from that this endless plain of Serengeti is rich in wild all time of the year. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is at.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

We finish our time in Serengeti with another morning game drive before we proceed to Ngorongoro Crater. We will spend our overnight at the rim of the Crater with a stunning view into the caldera and on the sunset.

Alternatively you settle in at your beautiful country home style lodge and enjoy a restful afternoon. An interesting coffee plantation walk is offered by the lodge at 16:30 free of charge including coffee roasting and grinding ceremony.

Ngorongoro Crater tour, transfer to Arusha

After breakfast, we decent 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning half day game drive. Ngorongoro crater is home to an estimated 30,000 wild animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black Rhinos. The crater has a dense population of predators like the Lion, Cheetah and the elusive Leopard. The elevated structure encourages the animals to refrain from migrating in and out of the crater which means there is a high possibility of spotting every member of ‘The Big 5’. After enjoying our picnic lunch we will proceed with game drive while we make ascend out of the crater and drive to Arusha town for an overnight relaxation before departure on the following day.

Transfer to Airport

You will have a relaxed breakfast this day, chill for half a day and probably enjoy a hot lunch in Arusha town. You will then check out the hotel and depending on your flight time you will proceed to airport for drop off.
