  • Arrival at Zanzibar Airport to Stone town

    Upon your arrival day at Zanzibar International airport, you will be met by our driver/representative who will pick you to Zanzibar Palace Hotel for lunch and relaxation. In the early evening you will depart at Stone town narrow streets for an amazing Swahili tour, where you will learn and experience more about the Island culture and people. In the evening you will depart at Zanzibar Palace Hotel at Stone town for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Zanzibar Spice Tour

    Today in the morning after breakfast, you will reveal the meaning of “Spice Island”, where by our representative will take you to get familiar with spice plantation. Zanzibar became popular known as the “Spice Island” in Swahili language we call it “Marashi ya karafuu” as a succulent green getaway filled with exotic species, of spices and plants whilst on your spice tour you will have an opportunity to taste, smell and see how the various spices and fruits are grown. You will proceed with spice tour until late afternoon when you will depart to Zanzibar Palace Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Beach holiday at Kizimkazi and Dolphin Swimming

    Continuing enjoy sand, sun and sea at Kizimkazi southern beach Zanzibar. Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be sighted following a short boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience. We are doing this trip in the early morning to avoid the crowds of tourists in the morning, as big numbers of them disturb the dolphins. Later back at the same hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

  • Kizimkazi to Bwejuu eastern beach

    After breakfast at Indigo hotel, depart from southern beach to enjoy and explore the Eastern beach of Bwejuu beach. This part of the coast features a magnificent white-sand beach which runs continuously for 20km, backed by stands of palm trees and fronted by a stunning coral lagoon with a fringing reef around 1km offshore. Enjoy sand and Sea the whole day at Bwejuu beach.

    Zanzibar City Tour

    After breakfast in the morning, you will be picked up by our guide from the hotel for a city tour within stone town. Today you will get familiar with the city and the true culture of Zanzibar, you will visit the famous House of wonder, the sultan Palace, the old museum and the old market where you can shop for various fruits, souvenirs and spices. Without forget the cathedral Church and the old dispensary. Proceeding walks through the famous alleys of Zanzibar, intermingling with the local people and enjoys the aroma of coffee and spices around you. In the evening depart at Indigo Beach Zanzibar for dinner and overnight stay.

How 2 Book Your Safari

• You make an inquiry.

• We contact you to set up an initial phone consultation (one person or whole group).

• We develop a first draft itinerary.

• Several variations are made until the perfect itinerary is reached.

• Prior to going to contract we have our office in Arusha run a comprehensive availability check on all accommodations and request provisional bookings.

• If all accommodations are available, you are sent a final contract/itinerary for signing and your deposit is due (see Terms & Conditions). If availability is not possible at some of your desired locations, we seek out alternate options prior to going to contract.

• Once you sign and return your contract, our office in Arusha submits booking vouchers and makes necessary deposits to all the accommodations to finalize the bookings.

• Signed and stamped booking vouchers are scanned and emailed to you as confirmation of your bookings.

Late Bookings

When booked well in advance (6 months or more), there is usually no problem in securing all the desired accommodations. However, when we encounter full locations, we place immediate bookings at alternate locations and then, time permitting, present these options to you for a final decision. Typically, we have been very good at getting excellent locations, even last minute. While it is true that many lodges do indeed fill up quickly, we find that rooms usually open up as the date gets closer due to the release of rooms from block bookings.

What are block bookings?

It is common for large tour operators who organize group tours to book a block of rooms in anticipation that their pre-­planned itineraries will operate at full capacity. Many lodges allow block bookings without deposit, but force the tour operators to pay for these rooms or release them as the actual dates get near (between 45 and 60 days in advance). What does this mean for a private tour? It means that sometimes it can be difficult to secure certain accommodations that cater to group tours.
